Every child aged 3-4 in Scotland is entitled to 1140 funded hours of childcare.

These hours are available over 50 weeks during the scholastic year or 38 weeks for term time only.

You have the flexibility to request a minimum of 5-hour blocks, up to a maximum of 9 hours per day.

For families with children attending nursery throughout the year, the monetary value of these blocks will be deducted from your nursery fees.

Some 2-year-olds may be eligible for funded places.
